ACTE 2009 Career Tech Expo
Nov. 19 & 20, 2009
Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center
Nashville, Tennessee

Why Exhibit?
Present your products and services to the largest national audience of career and technical educators. ACTE's Convention and Career Tech Expo will bring 4,000 CTE educators to Nashville, Tennessee this November. There's nowhere else you will find as many CTE instructors and administrators in one place at the same time.

Consider this:

  • There will be 4,000 attendees;
  • 80 percent with purchasing power;
  • 50 percent are teachers and 35 percent are administrators;
  • 37 percent come from high schools;
  • 25 percent come from vocational/technical schools;
  • 13 percent come from two- or four-year colleges and universities.

2009 Expo Postcard Front

Career Tech Expo attendees are respected education authorities who initiate programs, solicit bids and are prepared to make purchasing decisions based on what they see. Meet them in person and make sure they choose your products and services.

How Do You Sign Up?
We've already sold 70 percent of the total available booth space, so, if you're interested, it's never too early to reserve your space. For more information, see the 2009 Career Tech Expo Exhibitor Prospectus.

Really Make a Difference in Your ROI!
A well-run booth is the most cost-effective way to sell a product or service. This doesn't just mean sending staff and setting up your display in time. Investing a few dollars on the front end can be vital to your success.

In order to ensure this show is a success, here are a few suggestions from ACTE:

  • Invite your top prospects to the event with a personable phone call. We provide each exhibitor with 50 complimentary Career Tech Expo Only guest passes.
  • Make your show presence an integrated part of your marketing plans. How? Advertise in issues of Techniques magazine leading up to the show. Or send out pre-show mailers with something inventive to get people to stop by your booth. We have mailing lists available for purchase.
  • Raise your profile during the show through one of our numerous sponsorship opportunities—tote bag inserts, passport stations, note pads, convention buttons, workshops and more.

By just doing a few of these additional things—above and beyond what other companies are doing—you can really make a difference in your ROI.

Want to Be a Presenter?
There are a limited number of Exhibitor Workshops available only to Career Tech Expo exhibitors. You can present your products and services to attendees in a 50-minute educational session. Workshops are located in the exhibit hall, are wired for Internet and seat approximately 50 attendees classroom-style. Workshops are held on the hour during Expo hours. Nearly half of the available timeslots are already sold, so reserve yours now. The cost is $900.
