What We're Reading: CTE News Around the Blogosphere Feb. 1

This week, we began reading some great op-eds and stories about CTE Month, like the piece in the Journal Times written by the Wisconsin State Superintendent of Instruction, Tony Evers. Meade County Times-Tribune looks into the kitchen door, so to speak, to learn more about culinary arts offerings at Sturgis Brown High School. The Chronicle of Higher Education releases its’ findings from this year’s Freshman Survey, which reports incoming college freshman have jobs on the mind more than ever. February is all about CTE and lots of great events are going on, including the national Digital Learning Day organized by the Alliance for Excellent Education, which High School Matters Blog shares in their post this week. Finally, CTE Central Blog offers a great look into nontraditional enrollment in CTE.
