Fact Sheets Help You Make the Case for CTE

The next time you need to illustrate the value of CTE to a policymaker, industry leader, colleague or parent, consider using an ACTE fact sheet to help you make your case!

  • Our newest fact sheet, “CTE Today,” gives a short primer on CTE, focusing on numbers that will grab the attention of busy legislators, business people and others. Use it to quickly introduce CTE and its value.
  • For those who need a more in-depth introduction, our “What is CTE?” fact sheet provides a more comprehensive overview of CTE.
  • Our “CTE WORKS!” fact sheet shares relevant CTE research across broad themes. Areas of focus include CTE's impact on student academic achievement, dropout rates, adult workforce needs, earnings and employment outcomes, the skills gap and state economies.

ACTE hopes these resources will make your advocacy easier and more effective. If you have a question about fact sheets or about CTE research in general, don’t hesitate to contact me!
