The 2005 CTE Week logo was selected from numerous entries submitted by students from across the country. The winning entry was designed by Wook Jang of Alexandria, Virginia. A talented artist, Mr. Jang enrolled in Graphic Imaging and Design courses at West Potomac Academy in Alexandria, Virginia, because it combined two things he enjoys -- art and technology. “The Academy program gives me more opportunities to practice my art and enhance my skills,” comments Mr. Jang.
Mr. Jang was encouraged to enter ACTE’s contest by his Graphic Imaging and Design Instructor, Mike Emanuel. According to Mr. Jang, “Mr. Emanuel has taught so much and his constant encouragement and support has allowed me to pursue opportunities such as the ACTE Logo Design Contest.”
A member of the class of 2005, Mr. Jang is planning to continue his education at either George Mason University or Virginia Commonwealth University, studying both business and art.
