CTE Month 2011 Logo Contest Winner Announced
Ian Jones, from Willingboro, New Jersey, has won the 2011 CTE Month Logo Design Contest. He will receive a check for $250, and the logo will be used to promote the 2011 CTE Month theme, CTE: Learning Today, Earning Tomorrow. ACTE received 85 entries for this year’s contest. Jones graduated in June from Burlington County Institute of Technology—Medford Campus in Medford, New Jersey. He starts at Delaware State University in the fall and will pursue a major in psychology and a minor in art.

February was CTE Month! This month-long celebration of CTE kicked off with National Job Shadow Day and concluded with National Entrepreneurship Week USA. This year's theme was CTE: Invest in Your Future.
CTE Month Products
You can still order products from the online store. This year, ACTE put together a substantial variety of products for you to decorate, hand out, give as gifts, reward CTE teachers and supporters, and other ways. Add your own logo to some of the products for a personal touch and to use throughout the year!

Job Shadow Day
ACTE hosted its first-ever Job Shadow Day! Marketing students from Robinson and South County Secondary Schools came to the Headquarters office to learn more about ACTE. And because ACTE visits local schools to gain a better understanding of different CTE programs in the area each year, ACTE staff visited Falls Church High School to learn how CTE is being carried out in Northern Virginia.
