What are the dates of the 2010 ACTE Annual Convention and Career Tech Expo?
It will be held December 2-4, 2010 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
What is the deadline to submit a proposal?
All proposals must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. EDT on March 5, 2010.
How are proposals selected?
All proposals are peer-reviewed. Final decisions will be made by April 2010.
How will I know if my presentation has been accepted?
Submitters will be notified about the status of their proposal via e-mail in April 2010.
What do I need to know to submit a proposal?
All presentations are one hour.
Each person may submit a maximum of two proposals.
Please do not submit a proposal for someone else.
Please do not submit a proposal unless you can present at anytime during the Convention (Thursday, Friday or Saturday).
Do not use acronyms, initialisms or all CAPS in your name, affiliation, address, title or description.
ACTE reserves the right to edit presentation titles and descriptions for length and content.
The lead speaker is responsible for sharing Convention information with co-speakers.
Accepted speakers and co-speakers are responsible for ALL Convention-related expenses, including Convention registration, travel, lodging and meals.
Selling or promoting products or services is not allowed in ACTE presentations.
When submitting your proposal, you will be asked to select an ACTE Division and a topic area.

What audio visual equipment is provided?
All meeting rooms are set with a podium and mic, screen and LCD projector.
ACTE does NOT provide laptop computers.
All meeting rooms are set theater-style (unless a roundtable format is selected) and vary in size.
