ACTE's standing committees and task forces are the workforce of the Association and play an important role in implementing the strategic plan. Each committee/task force page shows the charter and objectives, with a link to the current roster.

| Composition |
Groups of volunteers who work on an ongoing issue for the Association. |
Groups of volunteers who work on a pressing issue or specific project for the Association. |
| Term |
Committee members serve two-year terms, except the Audit Committee, members of which serve three-year terms. Members may serve up to two terms. |
As long as it takes to accomplish the task (anywhere from several months to several years). |
Time Commitment
|
Attend Convention meeting in person, as well as participate in conference calls as needed. |
Participate in conference calls and Webinars as scheduled. Some task forces meet at Convention or NPS. |

Appointed by Region/Division vice president. |
Applicants volunteer and are selected based on experience and expertise. |
