The Committee's overall objective is to effectively communicate the value of career and technical education and ACTE to all appropriate external publics.

Specific objectives for this year are:

1. Review the purpose/focus of the committee and make any necessary changes.
   
   
2. Provide feedback, suggestions and ideas to ACTE staff on ways to increase public awareness and positive recognition of CTE educators.
   
   
3. Provide feedback, suggestions and ideas on how ACTE can enhance the value of Career and Technical Education Month.  The Committee is also asked to explore ideas on how to increase the news coverage for this activity. 
   
   
4. Provide feedback, suggestions and ideas on how ACTE can use examples of programs and best practices and CTE graduates to establish closer relationships with the media representatives and increase the positive coverage of CTE.
