MEMBERS: Two Representatives from each Region

1. MISSION


To sponsor activities that provide adequate funding for the Association, state associations and members to advocate legislative and regulatory positions that support, enhance and recognize the value of career and technical education.

2. AUTHORITY

2.1 This is a Committee of the Board appointed under procedures adopted pursuant to Article 8.1 of the Bylaws.

3. COMPOSITION

3.1 The Committee shall consist of two (2) representatives from each ACTE Region, Chair of the ACTE Legislative Committee and a representative from the National Executive Directors Association (NEDA).

3.2 The term of office is the Association operating year. Members serve for a two-year period and may serve up to two terms.

3.3 The Region Vice Presidents shall appoint their representatives. Committee members shall have an interest or expertise in fundraising activities and the grassroots process.

3.4 The Committee elects their Chair and Vice-Chair with approval of the Board of Directors. The Chair and Vice-Chair serve for one year.

4. OBJECTIVES

4.1 Develop an annual action plan for the raising of funds from members, corporations and other external stakeholders.

4.2 Coordinate grassroots advocacy efforts through the ACTE regional structure, states and affiliated associations.

4.3 Recognize the support efforts of members, corporations and other external stakeholders.
