The Guidance and Career Development Division of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) provides leadership and advocacy for school counselors and guidance professionals.
The goals of the Guidance and Career Development Division are to:
- Provide leadership and advocacy for school counselors and guidance professionals.
- Collaborate with other professional education groups to maintain and advance a strong voice for counseling and guidance.
- Disseminate CTE information to guidance personnel and to disseminate guidance information to CTE professionals.
- Provide exciting and engaging sessions at the ACTE Annual Convention.
- Provide annual professional recognition of guidance professionals and programs.
