This award is based upon outstanding contributions as a classroom/lab Adult Workforce Education teacher. Nominees must be actively teaching in a AWD Program. Nominees should show evidence of excellence in teaching as well as contributions to the field at all levels. Local and state involvement is primary considerations with less emphasis on national contributions. (Applicants must have been members of ACTE for at least five years)
This award is based upon outstanding service to the field of Adult Workforce Education. Nominees shall be or have been an AWD Administrator. Classroom teachers are not eligible for this award. Nominees must show evidence of significant involvement at local, state and/or national levels. (Applicants must have been members of ACTE for at least five years)
This award is to recognize outstanding programs in the field of Adult Workforce Education. Winners will be selected on a regional bases. Winners will be recognized and invited to share their program practices with other Adult Educators at the National Convention.
This Award is to recognize strong partnerships between Adult Workforce Developemnt Education and business and industry. Winners will be selected on a regional bases. Winners will be recognized and invited to share their program practices with other Adult Educators at the National Convention.
This award is based upon outstanding service to the field of Adult Workforce Education. Such service may be of any type or at any level. Nominees shall be or have been serving in a supportive role to Adult Workforce Education to include career counselors, mentors, coaches, or individuals serving in supportive programs to students in Adult Workforce Education. AWD program teachers are not eligible for this award. Nominees must show evidence of significant involvement at local, state and/or national levels. (Applicants must have been members of ACTE for at least five years)
